BORING Lemon-Lime Marinated Chicken

I am trying to expand my chicken marinade collection BUT this is NOT one that I will adding to that list! You maybe surprised to find a can of Sprite and horseradish in this recipe, but neither of those ingredients made this chicken memorable. All you could taste was the soy sauce!  If you have not tried my basil chicken marinade, then you should! You can't even compare the two marinades because mine is so much more flavorful!

I wanted to share this one though because it seems to be very popular on Pinterest right now and I didn't want you to waste your time!
Adapted from Six Sister Stuff
Ingredients
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/2 cup reduced sodium soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon horseradish
1 (12 ounce) can of Sprite or 7-Up (not diet)
1/4 cup vegetable oil
Directions
Mix all of the ingredients for the marinade together in a small bowl.
Place your chicken breasts in a large zip-lock bag and pour the marinade in the bag.
*Tip-I like to put the ziplock bag with the chicken in a bowl in case the marinade leaks out.
I marinated my chicken overnight so the chicken could absorb all the flavor. However, it only seemed to absorb the soy sauce. DISAPPOINTING!!!
I am planning on making avocado egg salad tonight so stay tuned for that recipe!
